Celebrating the Diversity at Perth Wellness Center
Perth Wellness Center is celebrating the diversity of its staff from many different backgrounds and cultures. Some are even fluent in their native country’s languages. Many clients are not native English speakers, and having a translator available is such an asset.
Meet four staff members who speak another language below.
Dr. Mia Ghil Speaks Korean Fluently
Dr. Mia Ghil graduated from Murdoch University with a double Bachelors degree in Clinical Chiropractic and Science. She was born in Korea, and now uses her fluent Korean to speak with patients needing care. Dr. Ghil believes wholeheartedly in holistic care.
She has worked in nursing homes, sports related facilities and more. Dr. Ghil has successfully treated conditions such as migraine relief, low back pain, sports injuries involving the musculoskeletal system and provides additional treatment for a number of other illnesses that include:

- Activator
- Soft Tissue Therapy
- Drop Piece
- Rehabilitative Exercises

Dan Radassi Is a Renowned Remedial Massage Therapist Who Speaks Fluent Italian
Dan is passionate about his work here performing many effective health and wellness therapies for his important clients. Some of the services that Dan provides includes:
- Foot Massages
- Remedial Massage – Shoulder Injuries, Back Pain & Overall Pain Management
- Craniosacral Therapy

Soo Yin Ooi Is a Licensed Occupational Therapist & Wellness Consultant Who Speaks Fluent Mandarin
Soo Yin earned her Bachelor of Science degree in occupational therapy at Curtin University then completed her honors research in Bali. Soo Yin is a dedicated occupational therapist who specializes in working with kids diagnosed with severe physical, developmental and intellectual disabilities.
Soo Yin also is proficient in Soft Tissue Therapy earning her certification. She enjoys working in a holistic care setting, and she has worked to prevent work injuries by using workplace ergonomics to improve productivity in a safe manner. Soo Yin is also proficient in Mandarin.
Dr. Saba Ghasempour Is a Doctor of Chiropractic & Speaks Farsi Fluently
Dr. Saba Ghasempour earned a Bachelor of Chiropractic Science and Bachelor of Clinical Chiropractic Degrees from Murdoch University. She is an avid sports enthusiast and has experience in sports-related injury prevention and treatment. She was a sports trainer for football and rugby.
Dr. Ghasempour is dedicated to health and wellness particularly in sports and women’s health.
Ryo Nozawa Is a Physiotherapist Who Speaks Fluent Japanese
Ryo Nozawa (sounds like Rio de Janeiro) graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Science (Physiotherapy). Prior to this, Ryo completed his physiotherapy studies including a Master of Health Science (Biomechanics) in Japan. He worked in a public hospital where he experienced seeing clients with a range of conditions, such as musculoskeletal, post-operative orthopaedics, neurological or cardiac conditions.
Ryo has a particular interest in biomechanics. Analysing movement to identify the main cause of symptoms, guides his treatment plan with his clients.
