Perth Physiotherapist Wayne C. Sun is a Curtin University Graduate with extensive experience working with athletes. Throughout his student years, Wayne has always held an interest in rehabilitation and sporting injury management which led him to be heavily involved with sporting teams till today. He has also delved into aged care, explored chronic age related conditions and experienced providing physiotherapy to the elderly.

Wayne currently is the Head Physiotherapist at Perth-Bayswater Rugby Union Club where he is devoted in providing physiotherapy treatment, rehabilitation and health education to players. He is also involved with providing ongoing education and mentorship to the “Baysie” Student team as well as helping coaches and managers develop an all rounded rugby team. At the same time Wayne also works with athletes from Perth Royals Football Club, South Perth United Football Club, Perth Baseball Club, Mt Lawley Inglewood Cricket Club, Perth Broncos American Football Club and Applecross Tennis Club.

He has also worked with Hockey WA teams Lightning & Storm on numerous occasions and provided Physiotherapy to the players in Darwin where the 2015 Nationals were held.

Trained in various physiotherapy treatment methods and modalities, Wayne firmly believes in the application of an integrated holistic systems approach and that the perfect balance between Chemical, Emotional, and Physical has to exist for prime well being. His aim is to be able to promote this approach to healthcare and the concept of Wellness to other parts of the world.

As a tireless advocate for learning and ongoing knowledge development, Wayne is an avid reader and manages his own personal “.physio” domain where he hopes to empower both the public and health professionals with the best health advice and knowledge through his writing.

In his spare time; Wayne enjoys Rock Climbing, Discovering Film and Writing.
